Resumen: Las torres de enfriamiento son equipos muy utilizados en los procesos de transferencia de calor. Este trabajo presenta una propuesta de un sistema de tratamiento de agua para torre de enfriamiento. El proyecto fue financiado por la empresa IAASE, S.A. de C.V., debido al interés de desarrollarse en esta área, contándose con la asesoría y dirección del laboratorio de Corrosión y Materiales del Instituto de Ingeniería de la UABC. Para el diseño del prototipo, primeramente se plantean los diferentes factores que intervienen en los sistemas de tratamiento de agua del tipo recirculante abierto, y posteriormente se consideran las condiciones de operación del sistema, tomando como base la cantidad de sólidos totales disueltos en el agua, de los cuales se llevó registro por un periodo aproximado de mes y medio. |
