La muerte se nos revela como un problema global y radical, ya que cuestiona la totalidad de la vida y de la realidad. Preguntarse por la muerte es, evidentemente, cuestionarse el sentido de la vida humana y de la historia, la validez de las exigencias éticas absolutas, y las posibilidades y el alcance de la esperanza humana. Con la crisis de los universos simbólicos, de los metarrelatos de salvación, el hombre de la sociedad de la técnica, del bienestar y del consumo se ha quedado desprotegido y sin saber a qué atenerse ante las experiencias límites y anómicas, máximamente encarnadas en la posibilidad del morir. Por ello la muerte se ha convertido en un tema tabú.--reverso cubierta. |
