Usually, a redesigning activity is triggered by changes in the business envir- ment, where the enterprise is functioning (delivering its service), or an internal need for e?ciency. The departure point for any design or redesign activity p- tinent to an enterprise is ?rst to understand the enterprise business processes. Therefore, in the overall enterprise engineering activities, business process m- eling plays a central role.
